This tour will take you not only to the famous colonial churches in the Quetzaltenango area, but includes a lot more! We will fist go to San Andres Xécul, a yellow church with several colorful engravings that make it one of most famous churches in Central America.
​
We also visit a place where you can see how local people dye cotton that is used for the typical weavings. We also visit a Mayan altar and San Simón (Maximón a local Maya Saint). We end our tour in Salcajá where we visit a local family who makes “Caldo de frutas” a local drink in Guaemala.

After that we will go to a weaver's house where you can see how they make the local textiles and end our tour in Quetzaltenango.
