Totonicapán

We will first visit La Casa de la Cultura in Totonicapán where our local guide will be waiting for us. We visit several families where they make different local products. Here you can see how the local textiles are made. After that we will have a lunch with a local family in Totonicapán.

In the afternoon we continue our tour with a visit to different factories. At these factories the guide will explain you how the people make the masks and other handicrafts which are very famous here in Guatemala. In the Casa de la Cultura, a small performance of folkloric dancing will be given. After that we will return to Quetzaltenango.
